Return Policy

Dispensed prescription medication cannot be returned. Here is why, and what happens when an order arrives damaged or wrong.

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Prescription medication is not like other online orders. Once it has been dispensed and shipped to you it cannot be returned, resold, or reused, and that is pharmacy law rather than policy preference. This page sets out what that means in practice, and the cases where something can be put right.

The Short Version

Not yet shipped
Contact the telehealth platform promptly. An order that has not shipped can be canceled.
Already shipped
Dispensed prescription medication cannot be returned or refunded, under pharmacy law.
Damaged, wrong, or compromised
Report it immediately, with photographs, and it is put right at no cost to you.
No prescription written
Where a clinician declines treatment, you are not charged for any medication.

Why Prescription Medication Cannot Be Returned

Once a prescription leaves the pharmacy, its storage and handling stop being verifiable. A pharmacy cannot confirm that a returned medication was kept at the right temperature, kept sealed, or kept at all, so it cannot put it back into supply.

Federal and state pharmacy rules reflect that, and licensed pharmacies do not accept returns of dispensed medication.

What Gets Put Right

The rule above covers medication that reached you intact and correct. It is not a way to avoid fixing a mistake. Where an order arrives damaged, arrives wrong, or does not arrive at all, it is resolved at no cost to you.

Damaged or Compromised on Arrival

If the packaging is damaged, if a cold shipment arrives warm, or if the medication looks wrong in any way, do not use it.

  • Photograph the package and its contents before you move anything
  • Report it to the pharmacy or the telehealth platform the same day where you can
  • Keep the packaging until the claim is settled

A replacement is dispatched once the claim is confirmed. You will not be asked to send the damaged item back, because it cannot return to supply.

Wrong Item Received

If what arrived is not what was prescribed, do not take it. Report it immediately, with photographs of the label and the packaging. The pharmacy sends the correct medication and tells you how to dispose of what you received.

Orders That Have Not Shipped Yet

An order that has not been dispensed can usually be canceled and refunded. Speed matters, because a compounded preparation is made to order and the window closes once compounding begins.

Cancel through the telehealth platform rather than through this website, because they hold the order.

Multi Month Plans

Some treatments are offered on 3-month and 6-month plans. Canceling a plan stops future shipments and future charges. It does not refund a shipment that has already been dispensed, for the reason set out above.

Cancel through the telehealth platform, and do it before the next fulfillment date rather than after it.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

A package refused at the door, or returned as undeliverable, goes back to the pharmacy and cannot be reshipped, for the same handling reasons. It is not refundable. If you need to change a delivery address, do it before the order ships.

When a Clinician Declines Treatment

An independent licensed clinician reviews every intake and may decide that treatment is not appropriate. That is the process working rather than a fault, and where no prescription is written you are not charged for medication.

Any consultation or platform fee is handled under the telehealth platform's own terms, which you accept when you begin the intake.

Disposing of Medication You Cannot Use

Do not flush medication, and do not put needles or vials into household recycling. Most communities run a drug take-back program, and many pharmacies accept sharps containers. Your local pharmacy can tell you what applies where you live.

Refund Timing and Method

Where a refund is due it goes back to the original payment method. The telehealth platform issues it, and how quickly it appears depends on your bank rather than on them. A few business days is normal, and longer is not unusual.

Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, tell us or tell the telehealth platform. A chargeback filed without contacting anyone first freezes the order and slows the fix down, and it settles far slower than a phone call.

How to Start a Claim

Claims about a shipment go to the pharmacy or the telehealth platform, because they hold the order and the dispensing record. If you are not sure which of the two, start with us and we will point you at the right one.
